Alex is a senior analyst with Transact Capital, having joined the firm as an intern in May of 2023 and converting to full-time several months later. Alex’s background is in financial services and academia. He previously received a grant to conduct research in the economics department at his university, and he has prior internship experiences in insurance, equity fund management, and investment banking.
Alex’s personal history is unique. He was raised in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, giving him exposure to a host of different cultures and languages during his childhood. His Venezuelan mother and American father raised him bilingual in English and Spanish, and he has family in the continental U.S., Venezuela, and Spain. He moved back to the U.S. to attend boarding school and has been state-side for 8 years. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hampden-Sydney College, where he earned his B.A. in Economics & Business. Alex has completed his Series 63 and Series 79.
