Richmond, VA – Transact Capital Partners is pleased to announce that SML Packaging LLC, a Lynchburg, VA-based manufacturer of packaging machinery, has completed a successful refinancing with Stearns Bank. Transact Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor to SML Packaging in the transaction.
SML Packaging was founded in 2005 and provides innovative design and made-to-order bottling, both glass and plastic, and can packaging machinery solutions for the glass plants of wineries, breweries, distillers, etc. SML will utilize the refinancing to restructure exiting debt, hire additional engineering staff, and grow inventories for developing new accounts.
