About R.O. Mayes
R.O. Mayes & Son Wholesale Grain Co. is a grain elevator operator and licensed grain dealer located in Petersburg, Virginia that purchases, transports, stores and sells corn, soybeans and wheat in the central Virginia area. Founded in 1948, the company has built an excellent reputation and a loyal following among the farming community. Mike Mayes, the owner and second generation operator of the business, will continue to operate the business after the sale to Scoular.
