Richmond, VA – Transact Capital Partners announced today the following promotions:
Robert (Ross) Harris has been promoted from Associate to Vice President. In his new position he will increase his responsibilities in day-to-day client interface while working with managing directors of the firm. Ross also will oversee internal staff operations as to the utilization and efficiency of the firm’s analysts and resources.
Before joining Transact Capital in July 2018, Ross was an associate for BB&T Capital Markets in the Commercial & Industrial Group responsible for assisting clients with valuation, offering memorandums, due diligence, and deal management in sell-side M&A transactions. Prior to BB&T, he served as an Army Officer for four years in combat engineer units with assignments in the United States and Afghanistan.
Matt Kanne has been promoted from Senior Analyst to Associate. In his new role Matt will continue to work closely with the firm’s management to support current client engagements and to lead various marketing projects to help the firm grow and move into new industry verticals.
Prior to joining Transact Capital in 2019, Matt spent two years as a portfolio manager at Union Bank (former Xenith Bank). There he gained wide exposure to the commercial lending environment including underwriting, structuring terms, and managing client expectations. Matt is a U.S. Army veteran and served in the 1st Cavalry Division overseas and holds an MBA from William & Mary.
