Rusty Kruciak is a Managing Director for the firm. He is a seasoned Investment Banker who holds FINRA 24, 7, 79 and 63 certifications. Rusty Kruciak will be advising clients in matters associated with mergers and acquisitions, valuation, and succession planning. His clients include both public and private operating companies, private equity groups, law firms, family and other trusts, and commercial banks operating primarily in the Industrials and Manufacturing fields. Prior to joining Transact Capital. Rusty enjoyed successful tenures with M&A advisory firms in Boston, Massachusetts (G2 Capital Advisors) and Nashville, Tennessee (2nd Generation Capital).
Rusty began his career as Senior Management Consultant with Dallas, Texas-based DeWolff, Boberg & Associates. During his tenure, he was responsible for developing strategies for growth, sell-off and/or turnaround consideration for public and private clients operating globally in the maritime, aerospace, nuclear energy, retail, banking, and automotive supply chain industries. Rusty has also served as an Investment Manager responsible for fund formation, internal control development, debt and equity placements, and strategic consulting to portfolio investment companies operating in the advanced manufacturing, software as a service (SaaS), and healthcare industries.
Prior to his professional career, Rusty completed eight years of uniformed service in the United States Marine Corps as a division chief and staff non-commissioned officer in the aviation field. In 1994, he was named Company Honor Man, a distinction that recognizes the top graduate from each basic training class.
Rusty holds a BA from the University of Tennessee, and currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Nura, and young son, Wyatt.
