Richmond, VA – Transact Capital Partners is pleased to announce that SJW Commercial Concrete, LLC, a Richmond, Virginia construction company specializing in niche concrete construction, and cell tower stacking and technology installation, has sold a majority ownership to Technical Partners, LLC. Transact Capital Partners served as the exclusive financial advisor to SJW Commercial Concrete in the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
SJW was founded in 2009 by Shawn Waters, who rapidly grew the company from a general concrete contractor focusing on industrial projects to a niche contractor servicing the wireless tower industry. The company began to also stack the towers and install technology infrastructure, eventually offering a full-service, turnkey operation to clients. SJW is a well-respected partner in the wireless tower space with a reputation for high quality work completed in an efficient manner.
Technical Partners, LLC, also headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is composed of two unnamed investors who will provide financial and operational partnership to SJW. Technical Partners will become the majority equity owner of SJW Commercial Concrete. Shawn Waters will remain in charge of the daily operations of SJW.
