Jacob is a Senior Vice President with Transact Capital, focusing on Business Development for the firms various advisory services.
Jacob began his career as an Army Officer serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. Jacob served one tour of duty to Afghanistan in 2012 and left the Army with an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Captain. After leaving the Army in 2014, Jacob returned home to Richmond and began his civilian career working out of the Corporate Office for CarMax, Inc. Here Jacob served as a Grand Opening Coordinator, successfully traveling the country to open 7 new CarMax dealerships. Jacob quickly advanced at CarMax and was promoted to Facility Coordinator in 2015. In this role, Jacob supported 52 CarMax locations in all their facility needs, request, and upgrades.
In 2018, Jacob joined Wells Fargo & Company where he served within the Commercial Banking team for over 5 years. Jacob’s primary focus was to lead the growth strategy for the Central Virginia Team, helping the bank grow and retain their customer base. Jacob showed consistent growth within his time at the company. He was once nominated for an internal leadership recognition award and left the company as a Vice President on the local Middle Market banking team.
Jacob is a Richmond native, holds a B.A. degree from the Virginia Military Institute, and an M.B.A. from the Executive program at Virginia Commonwealth University.
