With over three decades of hands-on experience, including business ownership, retail management and commercial real estate sales, Barry knows and understands the needs, challenges and concerns of business ownership from the inside out. For over twenty years he owned, managed and operated Shevel’s Men’s Wear in Chesterfield Towne Center, dealing with all facets and challenges of retail business ownership. Barry’s knowledge of commercial real estate and leasing transactions, coupled with his retail expertise gives him a unique advantage in understanding today’s business environment.
Barry is a member of Richmond Association of Realtors®, Virginia Association of Realtors®, and National Association of Realtors®, and a member of CCIM, the premier networking, education, and technology resource in the commercial real estate market. Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Barry serves as the principal real estate broker for the firm.
A proud Rotarian and past President of the Rotary Club of South Richmond, Barry takes community service seriously. He proudly served as a Board member of the International Hospital for Children, as well as helped to spearhead the renovation of the 8th Floor of the Hospital Hospitality House dedicated strictly for children needing a place to recover from critical surgeries and Bone Marrow transplants.

Barry attended Montgomery College in Maryland and served in the Army Reserve for 6 years.
